If we knew how strong we were, we would never stop fighting for what we believe is right. The only barrier to morality is a continued lapse in self underestimation.

Being an outspoken proponent of moral corrections to injustices, historical and modern, is the only stance I believe in. I want to deliver and propose corrections to injustice through my career and I want to look back on a legacy that pushed against what was evil and fought for an equitable future.

Through collaboration and organized efforts, we, and I, could make a difference. Really, a true difference and literally change the world. The impact that existing organizations have already had on people who have been subject to disenfranchisement is visible, but my personal contributions to such efforts are minimal.

Through my career, I want to change that.
I want to look back on a legacy of using my gifts to make positive impacts in my areas of expertise. Especially when those impacts are on those who are less fortunate or well off than I was.

Volunteering for STEM opportunities, looking into WiSTEM, AISES, and other marginalized tech industry groups are all of interest to me right now. I also envision a future where gamification and other STEM resources can be applied in raising a generation of kids from under-served backgrounds, turning them into the next leaders, makers, and brilliant scientists of tomorrow.
